Katherine’s Success Story

My name is Katherine and my journey began earlier this year in January.  Just like every year, my resolution was to lose weight, get fit and look the best that I could! Every year was a big fail, I would lack the motivation and never go past a week of a workout, plus my eating habits were ridiculous.

I ended up giving birth to our twin boys in July 2011. My eating habits from my pregnancy continued and I ended up being the heaviest and biggest I have ever been in my life. I never went back down to my pre pregnancy weight and I was ok with it because I barely paid attention to my appearance right then. After Christmas and seeing all the pictures of myself I was horrified and could barely recognize the person that was supposed to be me. I decided I had enough of that unhealthy lifestyle and went straight into promising to achieve my resolution for once.

I started Turbo Fire, a week after starting I joined Erin’s challenge group and I stayed motivated once I saw I had two weeks in of workouts! That is the furthest I have ever gone with a workout and I kept going and pushing myself. I decided my first goal was to lose 15 lbs, which would have me at my pre pregnancy weight. After 30 days I had lost 8lbs and 30 days after that I had lost about 5lbs which put me at 134lbs! I lost a total of 11.5 inches and I’m not stopping there.

This is the first time in my life that I am sticking to working out and eating healthy. It gets better and I feel confident now that I can finally achieve my ultimate goal.
